Book Recommendation - Splintered A.G. Howard

It's time for a book recommendation. I've just finished listening to the Splintered series by A.G. Howard. I'm a big Disney person, and this series only enhanced that. A fantastical, imaginative and at times fearsome retelling of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, it was a fun and enthralling read. The descendants of the original Alice, assumed clinically insane, face their sanity and nonsensical alter-egos to save Wonderland. This is not Disney’s colourful and bright Wonderland. Half-human, half-spider psychopaths stealing children and harvesting their dreams, the vengeful spirit of the Red Queen and a decomposing but animated white rabbit are only a few of the realities lurking in this story.

I listened to it on Audible, where the entire series resides. The narration was truly fantastic and the characters came to life through my speakers. A fresh take on an old classic is something that always piques my interest, but this is one of the few that lived up to my expectations and made the story its own.
